Why do atheist question my nick name here ?
Hindu-Atheist-Rebel= my nick
Ok i have plenty of comments, here is the deal, I am an atheist hindu, there are plenty of atheist swami`s in hinduism, it is accepted, heck everything is accepted in hinduism, but why do atheist my nick ? I am an atheist yes but i also someone who reads the codes of nature symbolised in hindu idols, in all those hands, its all symbols. Its as the symbols in science that its nature based symbols,even yoga is developed by a lot of this swami`s who beleived in nature which a lot of atheist practices nowdays
Logic tells me that Im alive because my heart is beating, but what makes the heart beat in the first place ? until science finds out that answer I will have to beleive that there is more to this then my senses can experiance, now isnt that logic too ? some ppl might call this GOD,ALLAH,KRISHNA,NATURE,CONSCIENCE or whatever
My point is, isnt it important to keep your mind open before you take an extreme right or left views on the world ?
no, if your were an Atheists you could not call your self a Hindu as well, one cancels out the other, but you can be an atheist with a Hindu heritage, or simply an agnostic Hindu.
Hinduism is not a religion per se but rather a reification of a diverse set of traditions - By tradition, the distinction between "believer" and "unbeliever" (Nastika) was simply whether the person, in principle, accepted the authority of the Vedas. According to Hindu tradition, the Vedas are apauruṣeya "not human compositions", being supposed to have been directly revealed, and thus are called śruti ("what is heard").
To believe in texts revealed is against the main ideals of atheism, for an atheist does not believe in any god, spirit or force beyond our own existence.
