Please give an opinion about my pre and post workout shake.?
So I have this theory . If you get enough nutrient to your body pre training you wont have to get just high g.i. carbs and whey post workout. My shake is 600 ml of skim milk 0% fat 1 Scoop of whey protein , waxy maize starch divided in two shakes one post one pre. It gives 20g of protein and 40g carbs per shake . I think the combo of slow release and fast release protein/carbs will not let my body get in catabolic state in the end of the workout and if it does the post workout shake should be enough to feed whatever the body needs . So any one more experienced in bodybuilding can give me an advice? i'm not sure about wich book or site I've read this theory but I wanted some advice if it's correct or if there is another way to more eficient to build your pre and post workout nutrition and as cheap as this one .Thanks in advance for your help.
Great shake and one that I have used for years! You can get a good response fron this shake in the long run.
