Is it possible for my friend to bring me food back to England from the U.S.?
My friend is going over on holiday to the U.S. in June and I've asked him to bring me back some food that I'm curious of or just miss. I've asked him to get Oreos, Twinkies, Cap'n Crunch and Lucky Charms which used to be sold here in the U.K. I miss them so much!
My question is - Is this possible? Are there are any laws that would stop him from bringing these back to England with him? I think I've heard that fruit, veg and meat is not allowed or is a lot of fuss to bring over. But is this the same for the products I mention above?
Thanks for any help!
P.S. Are there any other food products that are equally as good or better than the ones I mention, and not sold here, that I could ask my friend to bring over?
One of you should talk to the airline he is coming back on. I am a missionary and Im allowed 70 pounds of dry food checked seperately into the luggage area. He needs to get a good plastic storage box that has a snap lock on the top and then take a roll of duct tape to check in with him, after they have inspected it they will allow him to tape it securely. This was on Delta.
Im sorry I dont know what they sell there, but with the wide variety of nack and cerals we have here he should e able to find a lot of things.
