How do I keep the shine at bay?
I'm fifteen years old and I wear makeup to school everyday, not a lot, mostly to cover up problems spots, but around lunch time (five hours after I put on my make) my face gets oily. I have oily / acne prone skin and before I was wearing made me do the following:-Cleanse with Salyicylic acid scrub-Tone-Use the cream on the problem areas (acne scars and acne), Olay Moisturizer for Oily skin / Combination (absorbs oil and has spf 15) And then I put on makeup ... -Doctor 's Rx concealer for acne / scar-whipped Tru Blend foundation (with foundation brush)-Covergirl Fresh Look Pressed Powder (makes small pores and absorb oil - I apply it with a powder brush)-Eyeshadow-Mascara How can I keep the oil away?
You need to change the foundation and powder. I suggest going to the basis of mineral (Most brands are fine) and then use Maybelline matte powder finish. You do not have to touch with this powder, but if you do, it's very useful to carry in a pocket or purse. Foundation and powder you use is not very good quality and definitely not appropriate for your skin type.
