What should I do with my cartilage piercing?
So I have the top of my right ear pierced, and currently I have a small titanium bar in it. All the time I have had it in however, it has hurt when I touch or lie on it, especially with this bar. However my ears have a history of not healing properly with piercings. Was just wondering what you think I should do? Take it out or try something new for example? I still want to keep it in but it just hurts.
yea mine wouldnt heal at all i wanted it so bad too. i always got fed up with it and would take it out then i would repierce it and the same crap would happen and i always used rings finally i have given up for good it will never heal. so u will probably do the same thing as me deal with it for a long time then just get sick of it and take it out. i used a sea salt spray too which helped it not be so sore if say i slept on it funny or got it stuck on a shirt and it hurt that would help it not hurt so bad but it still never healed to the point where it didnt bother me at all.
dont listen to jlynne1 do not use alcohol! and titanium is actually a high quality metal thats even better for piercings than surgical stainless steel so its not that u have poor quality metal this is just how cartilage are, they can take up to a year to heal up if they do at all so u need to give it time too.
