Question about thyroid function test?
I visited my GP surgery recently for blood tests & one of the things they tested was thyroid function. When I phoned for the results I was told thyroid levels? were a little low or high (they weren't able to tell me which) and I was to have the blood tests repeated in 3 months. I wasn't given any more information and was given no GP appointment or meds. I'm confused! Does anyone know if this means I will end up with hyper/hpothyroidism or if it normally sorts itself out?
It means your thyroid gland is over or under active nothing much to worry about but you may require tablets to control it
especially if you are tired or listless all the time, as I said nothing to worry about but do have it tested again in 3 months
