What could get the smell of soybean oil out of carpet?
My landlady who lives downstairs, spilled about a 1/2 gallon of soybean oil on the carpet and some clothes. Now the whole house smells of it. Any suggestions on how to get it out?
omg I know it's up to her to get it out, I was just trying to get suggestions on how she could do it.. sheesh.. Answer the question, commentary not needed.
You could try renting a Rug Doctor or other brand of steam cleaner, but you may find better results from paying to have it professionally cleaned. The land lady should pick up the tab on that one too, I would think.
