How easy is it to use the Vocaloid system?
Well, my friend has got her own Miku Vocaloid system for her birthday and we are not sure if it will be easy to use...
So any tips?
Well, it's easy if you like meddling with MIDI or if you had experience in beat-mapping songs in rhythm games.
Basic process of making a song:
First, you have things to prepare:
1. Musical score or MIDI (of the VOCAL)
2. Lyrics of the song
3. VOCALOID software itself, duh.
4. If you prefer easy way of skipping step 1 or 2, get and learn a software called "MikuMikuVoice" which enables you to easily enter lyrics and get the correct notes.
Then, start off by loading the MIDI/VSQ or inputting the score into the software. When you're done, you can easily input the lyrics by choosing Jobs > Insert Lyrics. (If you haven't in MikuMikuVoice)
After that, You may want to edit the parameters since basically Miku sounds too high-pitched. There are 10 parameters that can be tweaked. They sit on the half bottom of the software.
Lastly, export the work into .WAV to be later mixed with the background music with another software.
Done, you now have funny sounding Miku singing made by your own! =D
