Support Formula
Other than medical or physical reasons why do people feed with formula?
Let me just first say that I am not bothered by formula feeders I do not think its wrong I understand its a choice and I support all moms formula and breast feeders alike.
I am just curious to know what helped you decide to formula feed as apposed to breast feed? OTHER than medical or physical reasons...
Is it a sexual thing or a work thing?
Is it it just more convienant?
Just curious I promise no offense is intended.
My Grandma didn't breastfeed 5 out of 6 kids because she was told that formula was better. She breastfed the 6th one (she's much younger than the others) because by that time, they realized that they were misinforming women.
"Because we tend to be surrounded by FFing moms, who tell us how horrible and painful and hard it was when THEY 'tried' to breastfeed .. so why bother since you're going to fail anyway."
This is so true. I was sure I was going to end up formula feeding. When my mom asked me if I was going to breastfeed, I said "Well, I'm going to try but I can't make any guarantees"
Reading about all the problems people had was really discouraging.
