is it ok to take 2000mg of milk thistle a day?
how much should I take the bottle has 1000mg per capsule and it says take one softgel two to four times daily but I think its too much no? and yes my liver is a little bad.
Absolutely! That's a perfectly safe amount to take as long as you aren't allergic to it (which is very rare). If there was a harmful dose of a supplement or herb to be sold without warnings on it about the dose, the FDA would pull it from the shelves in no time.
