Simply Saline
Cartilage Piercing..?
I've had my cartilage piercing since February 17th of this year, and ever since then I have been cleaning it three times a day with a solution called Simply Saline, using sterile q-tips. I move the earring around so I can clean it, but other then that I don't mess with it. I've gotten a little bubble-type thing on the front of my piercing like where it pierced the skin. And yesterday, I only cleaned it twice to experiment what the bubble exactly was. It turns out that my skin is trying to grow over my piercing or something. What does this mean? Is it healed, and time to switch out, or is this a sign of something? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks!
That happened with mine as well. I think you may be cleaning it too much and causing it to dry out a bit. Try sticking to twice a day and just give it time. Mine took nearly a year to heal fully.
