Is Arnica Gel ok to use while pregnant for sore bellies?
My lower belly and belly button are very sore, I called my midwife to make sure nothing else was wrong, but I found on line that using Arnica Gel or lotion can help relieve sore muscles. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this homeopathic gel or has used it before while pregnant.
I had to ask my sister-in-law this question since I was curious too, and she's a mid-wife in training. She said that it's best not to use arnica gel while pregnant just because of the herbs and oils that may be in the gel itself. She said that arnica is still one of the products that has little information on how arnica might affect a developing baby. She said that Tylenol would probably be one of the best things to take to relieve some of the pain.
