As a christian,is it wrong to use self help books/audios/subliminal self help audio?
I have been using self help subliminal audios for relaxation and eliminating stress and I find they do work and are effective..coz i suffered with social anxiety since i was a teen..i tried prayers which provided only temporary relief but i found subliminal audios have drastically reduced my phobias over the last few months and I am a lot more confident....If you don't know about subliminal self help audios,its about reprogramming your hidden negative subconscious mind thought patterns with positive ones...Do christians use tools like these?
YES. You don't always have to use the bible. You really can't understand half of it anyway unless god gives you a meesage to understand it. Think of it this way. Would you be any less christian if you had cancer and didnt seek medical attention all because you depend on god to heal you?NO that would be stupid because you will prob. die! the same goes for self help materials. If that makes sense:)
