why cant you use aloe vera burn relief with lidocaine more than 3 times daily?
i got sunburned and i really like using the solarcaine cool aloe burn relief spray and cooling spray gel which has menthol.. cuz it obviously makes it feel better...
is there any specific reason why it says in the directions not to use it more than 3 to 4 times daily?
Picture it like this: Your skin is a barrier, but it's also permeable. If you touch poisons or use something as like topical hormones.. they will travel through your capillaries and into you blood stream. So, it is possible to O.D. on medications used for outside (skin) problems/issues. If you use too much of the spray, there is the possibility that you could O.D. on the Lidocaine.
But personally... I've had to use that same product before and I was spraying it every 2 hours for about 4 days. Nothing bad happened besides that I needed more each time for it to work as well as it did on day 1 and etc.
