Heartburn... 34 weeks!!!?
I was reading my Pepcid Complete bottle before taking one tonight and noticed is says ways to prevent heartburn and has a list... I thought this was interesting, and second to last it says, if overweight, lose weight. Lol I just thought that was really funny...
Ok my question is, does anybody have any good ideas for heartburn prevention? Like home remedies?
My doctor already has told me it's ok to take Pepcid, Tums, and Zantac, as well as many others but I don't feel like overdoing it.
Besides the obvious, avoiding foods that will give you heartburn, try drinking some milk. I had wicked heartburn all through my pregnancy, and I was the same as you, I didn't want to take too many Tums. The last few weeks, though, I was living on Tums.
By the way, that might mean your baby has a lot of hair! That's one of the old wives tales that actually has some truth to it. My baby boy was born with a full head of hair.
