Painful Rheumatoid
Painful Rheumatoid

What could a lump in my finger be?
I have a painful lump at the base of my pointer finger. It only hurts when I apply pressure or move it awkwardly.
Rheumatoid arthritis runs in my family and I've been previously diagnosed with having calcium in my muscles so I was wondering if it was that but in the joint. Please help its annoying!? Many thanks, Eva x
Not a ward, its on the inside. Sorry I forgot about that!
It could be a calcium deposit. It's unlikely to be a rheumatoid nodule if you don't have joint pain. But I would definitely be going to your doctor and asking them to do some blood tests and look at this lump.
Good luck.
