Did the science diet ORIGINAL FOR KITTENS be recalled?
I just adopted a kitten 2 days ago. The adoption lady told me to get Science diet wet and dry.. Just so happens the wet she told me to get, was recalled yesterday
So i am now wondering if the dry original brand has been recalled... looked it up, didn't find anything, but i wanted to make sure!
Please answer, because if it is, I don't want to be killing my 4 week old kitten!!
Science Diet dry food is okay. You want to be careful with wet food any way because it is full of sugar and will cause teeth problems in the future. My 20 year old cat has had nothing but dry, Science Diet all her life and my vet is amazed at her health. All her teeth in good shape and everything else is like a cat half her age. I do use canned food as a treat once in a great while. It is so seldom that I couldn't even tell you the price of a can of cat food!!!
