what is the difference between hypnosis and nlp?

NLP is a therapy that uses the individuals mode of communication to help them resolve & remove negative patterns, phobias,problems etc.
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind & when induced is often for suggestion therapy, regression etc, like NLP, uses accessing the subconscious mind to create change via a relaxed physical state in which the individual is in an altered state, but traditional hypnosis does not use any NLP methods.
When you combine the two you have a powerful therapy.
