Is the natural / organic EVERYTHING really honestly need? The more the better? Or what?

I understand that a more natural organic products good for you. Food, etc., beverage, but then they go even further with the natural deodorant and even the nature toothpase and mouthwash. Okay, how necessary it is REALLY, I mean how much do you prevent cancer or disease, by switching to natural deodorants and toothpaste? What I mean is THAT needed?

There is a very strong reason for contaminants SOME (both microbiological and chemical) is GOOD for you. In both cases the healthy human body is designed so that the immune system fights foreign chemical / microbiological invaders, and like everything else in life if your immune system is not challenged will be lazy. A small amount of contamination is (generally) beneficial because exercise your immune system and you will be better able to fight disease / contamination when necessary. It is well known that the North American obsession with cleanliness actually make people MORE likely to get sick in Europe and other regions with less emphasis on cleanliness. The local population does not hurt (or less often / very) under the same conditions as they have "done better" / "fit" the immune system. Chemical contamination generally had no toxic effect up to a certain level (sometimes called "no effect" level.) Level without the effect varies with the chemical (and, yes, on to some of these chemicals is essentially zero ... in other words You get the toxic effects of the amount of each ... and this substance are the ones to worry about ... but also the most carefully regulated and not allowed in food) but in many cases are few in number low but not insignificant. Basically, your heart chew up (metabolize) low-level chemistry and you have NO ill effects. Conversely, inducing challenges (creating cause) of the enzyme more (things that metabolize chemicals) and your heart are better able to respond in the future. Consider that all fruits and vegetables (For example) contain natural pesticides and normal diet includes swallowing a few grams of "poison" every day. Relatively minute levels of synthetic / "Not fair" pesticide - Usually micrograms of total - is (except in extraordinary cases where there has been any use of pesticides) which is totally harmless because they fall well within the level there is an influence-for certain chemicals (Remember all synthetic pesticides and toxicology test are known). The next point to remember is that many toxic substances MOST natural. For example, ergot alkaloids (Growing up in Rye flour moldy), aflatoxin (pistachio moldy), Staph. toxin (from Staphylococcus contamination, for example, meat), cyanide, belladonna, warfarin, arsenic etc. all natural ... and very toxic / carcinogenic. Bottom line: the natural / organic are great in theory, but not very practical or useful in practice. Do not get me wrong, would be no problem with food because of contamination (greater application of agricultural chemicals, microbiological contamination - including because decomposition, etc.) but overall you may do as much harm by trying too clean as you do with swallowing the occasional bit of contaminant ... and that in food. Worried about the natural / organic cosmetics (eg deodorant / toothpaste) is that I wasted money ... and potentially dangerous because there is no guarantee they lack a) effective and b) not dangerous compared to conventional brands (which made with the material tested toxicologically.)
