Opinions of Castor and Pollux cat food?
I've heard so many horrible things about Science Diet that I'm thinking of switching my cats' food. I found a food at Petco called Castor and Pollux Natural Ultramix. It has no corn, wheat or by products. The only other food I saw at Petco that was on a list of "good food" was Nutra, but the second ingredient was chicken or turkey meal, so I kept looking and found this stuff. The cats love it and it doesn't seem to be that much more expensive than the Science Diet.
Any thought?
I would say it's a "pretty good" food, not the best, but definitely OK. Petco carries Wellness brand, which is better in my opinion. They also carry Natural Balance which is another very good brand.
