Excess mucus in the throat after a cold?
I'm suffering from the flu for about a half a week and after a small fever was gone, but there is sooo much mucus my throat and drive home in my nose. MY nose is not "runny" which seemed to have a lot of mucus in the back way where even a sneeze could not out ... I can not get it out of my throat either ... and it felt like a lump in my throat and if I open my mouth I could see it all hanging back there .... clear and white ... but some parts are yellow. Sometimes I would feel a little coming and it makes me gag ... and hard to breathe when I walk in somewhere outside .. cold and when I talk it sounds funny because of all the mucus in the back if the throat and nose .... Nothing helped .. . Vicks, shower, hot drinks all does not help ... I've been thinking about going to the doctor but feel a little silly as they may only build from .... cold, but it's really annoying and sometimes scary .. because it I'm drowning in them relief. 10 points for good adice or anything!
