I like that you choose, but also the choice of black gold (first on the first link you provided). I have some of this, and I absolutely LOVE them! They are beautiful and versatile, because they can be used in a variety of styles some necklaces, a bracelet, or even as an anklet! I do not think they look cheap at all. Instead, I think they are somewhat stylish, but not too fancy, and they are definitely unique. Honestly, if this is a gift for a girlfriend, go for it! Unless he's really high-maintenance (I hope not, for you), he probably would appreciate it no matter the price tag. You put a lot of thought love and consideration into this. That's far more important than the number of digits after the $. If he's down-to-earth personality and love you more than your wallet, he'll love this! Make sure you consider this one tastes.
