Should I get the limited edition or the extended edition of Lord of the Rings?
I'm thinking about buying the Lord of the Rings trilogy this weekend. I'm looking for the one with all the extended scenes. I've come across the extended edition with all the bonus features and the limited edition that says theatrical and extended. Do the limited editions have ALL the extended scenes that are in the extended editions? I'm leaning toward limited edition (don't really care for bonus features, it's cheaper, etc.) Thanks for your time.
extended, very few films have extra scenes that make the film better, but these do with only a couple of exceptions (like Gimli walking on the bones)
