Out of nowhere my toe swelled up at the joint and the skin is tender?
What could this be? There is no central bump or cut.
It feels like it's bruised under the skin and the skin feels irritated for no reason.
You could be dealing with something called gout (an example only) depending on which toe it is affecting.
However, I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.
