Why does it burn when I add anti-itch cream to my itchy vagina?
Hi I am a young girl so i am not sexually active. My vagina has been really really itchy! It is uncontrollable. I tried to use the anti-itch but it burns so bad!!!! Can someone please tell me:
1.Why does my vagina itch so bad?
2.Why does the cream burn?
3.What can I do?
if it's you clitoris and labia then it could be a yeast infection, or it could not be. i know that when i get itchy down there it drives me nuts. and i've been there with the anti-itch cream. it probably doesn't work because it's not meant for that part of the body and the skin is way more sensitive down there. if you don't want to tell your parents or a doctor quite yet, try washing down there, though not with soap. just spray some warm water when you shower or sit in a tub of warm water. i read somewhere that sleeping without panties can help too so that you can get some air down there & it reduces the chances of yeast infection.
if it continues to itch then i would suggest that you tell a parents and go to the doctors cuz every girl's gotta go to the OB/GYN eventually.
