How are we free in America if we are at war?
Ireland is not at war, neither is the netherlands...arent they free?
you have an incredible amount of choices in Iceland, so arent they more free than we are. Canada has universal health care. In america if you dont have insurance and you go to an Emergency room sometimes they wont even help you anymore unless you pay your balance first. so arent they free? College in some places is free if your their citizen...

like it or not, but there are other nations that enjoy more freedoms and quality of life than the USA.
look up the stats for infant death rates, look up the level of education commonly earned in this country, look at what drugs are prohibited here but allowed in others. heck, look at what the patriot act allows for the gov't to do to it's citizens in the name of safety.
i guess that we do have some freedoms, but they are oppressed. for example, there's a freedom of religion but is congress representative of the number of atheists, jews or other minorities in this country? absolutely not! for example atheists are much more likely to be elected to office in other countries than here... look at the female leader of france, she wouldn't have a chance in america
i guess since we don't like to hear these facts, we act like they don't exist
