Nothing gets rid of the oil on my face! HELP!?
nothing and i mean nothing gets rid of the oil. I've tried apricot scrub by himalaya herbals, im using right now jhonsons baby soap (prescribed by my dermatologist) ive tried an endless number of products and nothing at all seems to work. Anyone have any ideas and reasons why nothing at all i mean even right after i wash my face and come out of the bathroom my face is still oily! HELP! PLEASE!
ok the problem with oily skin is this:
you wash it constantly to try and get rid of the oil right?....your body is a self sufficient machine, if your face is dry...your body makes oil to moisturise it, if you are hot your body will sweat to internally cool you down..ect.
what you need to do is STOP wshing your face so much, stop using all the crazy cremes..ect
and simply buy an oil free moisturizer, use it immediately after you exit the shower, and before you put any makeup on..ect
if you apply a moisturizer, it will trigger your skin to notice that it dosent need to produce as much oil for your face to be supple.
if you have acne prone or combination skin, then i highly reccommend Mary Kay Velocity oil-free moisturizer.
and also, try using a toner for oily/combination skin. this will help seal your pores, and keep you from having as many broken capilaries...or redness.
i reccommend C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries rosewater toner for combo skin. get it at bath and body works...
both products cost about 15 bucks a piece, but i promise this technique will work,,,,i promise!
