Is it a good idea to start my Bullmastiff puppy on a glucosamine-chondroitin regimine this young?
Should I wait until she is older, or can it be used as a preventative method for joint issues? I understand that is supposed to ease pain with arthritis etc. But will do any harm to start now?
I would encourage it. This is not only given to help a dog once they are old, it helps support their hips and joints. A larger breed needs this even more than a small breed. I give my dogs SynovialMax Soft Chews. I have a 2 and 14 year old MIn Pin. Both of them get this every day. I am a strong believer in an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. What a great dog you have!
