Is it better to rent two full-size cars instead of a minivan?
I was surprised to see that minivan rental is about 2.5 times as that of a full-size car and I still can not understand the logic. So we are planning to rent two full-size cars. Is that a good option? Thanks!

Erica is right... what you should do is fully calculate the costs of both options and take into account gas for both vehicles, admission costs (if applicable) etc. Also check to see if there are any mileage restrictions on the van that would increase the price. Most cars come with unlimited mileage, but often, in the summer, the vans have only so many free miles and then you have to pay for each extra mile driven if you go over. Make sure to calculate that in as well. That way you'll know which is truly the cheaper option.
