How do I remove the smell of fish oil from my clothes?
I tried to apply the fish oil directly to my skin for skin conditions and can only tolerate the smell for about a week. Now I see some clothes that had been washed still have a smell. Any ideas? They are clothes that can not be bleached.
Both baking soda and borax remove odors from the garment fibers. Add between 1 / 2 -2 / 3 cups depending on the size of the load and let the clothes soak along with regular detergent for one hour or more. You can also add vinegar (about 1 cup) to the rinse water for fabric softening and elimination of odors. Do not worry dissapates odor.
