i would really appreciate if someone could give me a super simple cake recipe!? please!?
I need to make my mom a surprise birthday cake...but i dont have anymore extract (of any kind)...so i would really appreciate a simple recipe that can work around that if possible!

yea i cant use cake mix cause my mom took the car =_='....-sigh-...i usually use cake mix though...
Here is a VERY basic recipe I keep on hand. You can add flavor based on what you have at home.
Easy Plain Cake
INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup butter, melted
3 cups self-rising flour
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Add sugar into melted butter, stir until sugar is melted and blended with butter. Beat in eggs. Stir in self-rising flour bit by bit until mixture is well blended. Stir in one of the optional ingredients, if desired, according to your own taste to add special flavor to your cake.
Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven.
