Grape Seed Extract - OPC's ...Polyphenols? Difference?
What's the difference b/t polyphenols and OPC's. The grape seed I have has like 90% polyphenols...other brands highlight the OPC content, but I don't know the difference.
Polyphenols are a large class of chemicals - of which OPC's (one of these days I'll learn to spell it) are a very specific form of one of those chemicals.
By class of chemicals, I'll give you an example....lets use the example of transportation - there are many ways of getting from point A to point B - however, riding the back of a miniature donkey is a very specific form of transportation....
Considering that your grapeseed that says its 90% polyphenols could have a whole lot of other things in it (tannins, etc) I would stick with brands that specify the OPC content - well, that is if you are looking for the benefits of the OPC's
