Opened file from Excel 2003 in 2007 & it really slowed perf. I know there's a fix, but can't locate. Help!!
Hi. I have MS EXCEL 2007. When I last opened a file from an older Excel version it caused the program to go into compatibility mode and really slow down. I found a fix for this online a coupleof months ago. I did the fix (it involved some dialog boxes and finding optimal version to work with-- soryy details are fuzzy as it has been a while). I din't think I'd need it again and didn't have the foresight to save the directions. I opended an Excel 2003 file a few days ago and Excel went bonkers again. Copying and pasting a simple text cell takes over 30 seconds. I have searched the Net and can not find the fix again. Have spent 3 days on it and am honestly going nuts trying to locate something. Can anyone help?
