Is Vitamin C good nutrition for Cross Country?
These past few days after practice I've been drinking those 2 liter bottles of Tropicana Orangeade a day and I just wanted to know if that would affect my performance.
i don't know how if VITAMIN C would help you run faster, but it will help you heal quicker from injuries and prevent you from getting sick.
Vitamin C is used to make proteins called collagen which is a main protein for bones, cartilage, and muscles, and it also helps maintain the activity of WBC (white blood cells) in the immune system.
And I think 2 liters of tropicana Orangeade is too much...it can cause kidney and bladder stones and you can get nosebleeds and Diarrhea,
