Doxylamine Succinate
Doxylamine Succinate

is it safe to take doxylamine succinate / pyridoxine hydrochloride (morning sickness pills)?
My doctor has prescribed me 10mg of doxylamine succinate / pyridoxine hydrochloride which is a morning sickness pill to stop my nausea. I have to take one in the morning, one for lunch and two in the evening. But I have been speaking to a couple of friends about it and they really worried me by saying in 1983 there was loads of cases of babies being born with small arms and legs! Surely now 30 years later medicine has advanced enough. And surely the doctor wouldn't perscribe me something that was dangerous to me or the baby would they??? Has anyone else taken something like this? I would really interested to know on other peoples opinions.
To put your mind to rest, take nothing, it will soon pass, all part of pregnancy. Good luck.
