difference in diphenhydramine?
IS diphenhydramine all the same whether its in benadryl or sleeping aids like Unisom? Like Diphenhydramine HCL in Benadryl, is the same diphenhydramine HCL thats in Advil PM?
On http://www.advilpm.com/faq.asp it says that Advil PM contains 200 mg of ibuprofen and 38 mg of diphenhydramine citrate, not HCL. So I would say they are two different drugs and wouldn't take Advil PM during an allergic reaction. You can always call your pharmacy to double check though.
