Whats the best way to prevent colds/flu?
My mum says that being unhappy means that your immune system is down and you are more susceptible to getting the flu...but it this really true?
This seems to be true, yes.
Also you will probably be happier if you do not get the flu! If you play cards, then no one with the flu should touch the cards. A flu virus may live up to 24 hours on a hard surface, and maybe on playing cards.
Avoid anyone with a cold or flu who sneezes or coughs especially if they don't use a hanky or if they don't at least rinse their hands after sneezing. THAT is the best way to avoid colds and flu.
