I am preparing to make a talisman necklace.?
I am going to be using certain stones that contain the energies that will support what I want to talisman to accomplish, along with quartz crystal to put my own will into the energy mix.
I am a little rusty as I have not done anything like this for quite a while. I feel I should cleanse the stones to be used in the creek on my property before charging the stones.
It would be easier to make the necklace, cleanse it, then charge it as it would then be too heavy to be taken away by the current...
but I feel it would be more potent if I actually cleansed the stones first then charged the necklace while it was being made.
The problem is, if I cleanse the stones before I make the necklace, there is a good chance of the current taking some of the stones.
Do you think the potency would be any less or more with one method, or does it not matter as long as my will and intentions are clear?
I can't believe I didn't think of something as simple as that, how funny.
I love quartz crystal, and all stones for that matter, and have quite a collection. Bathing them in your creek and letting them sparkle beneath a breath-taking moon is ideal. Of course you do this because of your intentions. I don't think it matters that much which you do first, as long as the energy is there.
