Is this herb blend suitable for Samhain?
I wanted to make a herb blend that I could use for protection around the home, however I'm not sure if these are suitable as some of them are not grown in the UK and are probably not seasonal or traditional herbs/ spices for the time... anyway do as you wilt I suppose, I just used my initiative but what is your opinion?
-Cinnamon stick
-Curry leaves
-Marjoram
-White Sage
-Red Chili
-Nutmeg
-Pumpkin seeds

It's a personal choice dear. But, for myself, i would want to use a pinch of mugwort and some wormwood. Calendula, or pot marigold has some association with Halloween i believe, but sage is good if you like it, what one must Always remember with any protection is intent is as important as anything else. Samhain is not for me a time to worry about protection as such, more a remembering and getting in touch with the ancestors time..a time to look inwards again, to light a light for who and what has passed, and start again.but again, it is all down to choice of course. Dont really see the need for folks to get so shirty with you though!
