Is it normal for dog to scratch application site for K9 Advantix treatement?
3 Days ago my 10 pound pomeranian was treated for the first time with k9 advantix between his shoulder blades. Starting yesterday he has been obsessed with trying to scratch the area where it was applied. He can't reach. There appears to be some flakey skin but no obvious redness (it's hard to tell with all that hair). Is this normal or at least a possible side effect? Considering treating him with childrens benadryl and letting it subside on its own. Do you think it will subside over time? Thanks!
It is so bad that he did not sleep last night 
My dog freaks out when I give him that stuff too, only for a day or two, he is a lot bigger though, It will prob subside, If it is not red and he is not sick no worries.
