Carb blockers?
Do carb blocker pills really work? i know that to lose weight is to eat right and excersize, but i was wondering that with a little help with the extra carbs you take in on occassions if taking a carb blocker pill with help block the carbs.
Carb blockers use the extract of the white kidney bean to help block an enzyme in your digestive system which "cuts" complex carbs into smaller carbs or sugars. If you disable or limit this enzyme action you can prevent some of the digestion and therefor calories from complex carbohydrates. Obviously, less calories can help aid in weightloss. I would only recommend using these more as a "cheat aid" instead of a weightloss formula. On those days you just can't help but have a slice of pizza or bigger bowl of pasta then you should have.
You may see this ingredient listed as Phaseolamin or Phase 2.
