Can my cat smell the medicine in her food?
I tried giving my cat her worm medicine by breaking the caplets open and putting it in small slices of ham but she doesn't want it. And it's weird because she'll go after ANY food but she just ate two bites and ran each time. She thinks that i'm evil now because i swatted her a couple times today and i'm trying to get her to eat that so maybe she thinks i'm trying to poison her...
Well can my cat smell it? Also, can the medicine hurt her?
Cat's sense of smell is 14 times stronger than us human so yes I'm sure she can sense the medication (some medication are especially bitter tasting too).

A lot of veterinary clinic will also offers complimentary one time medicating - of course the meds needs to be prescribed by the vet and not OTC.
