Bsn True

Im about to apply for a Traditional RN program, is it true that California is the best place to study nursing?
Please help I wanted to go to Oklahoma University to get my BSN degree but my family is telling me not to...
All states basically follow the same requirements in providing an RN education. Schools are accredited by organizations like the National League for Nursing, which shows their programs meet these standards. The state licensure board also requires their elements be met in order for that school's graduates to be eligible to take the state licensure exam. All states essentially use the same exam - the NCLEX, which is usually computerized testing done through a company called Pearson Vue.
So no, there is no state that offers a better education than any others. People may have individual experiences with schools that are either positive or negative, and some schools might develop a reputation for being "tough" or "easy", etc. But school is what YOU make of it. You have to put the effort in, ask questions when you aren't understanding something, and use your instructors as valuable resources. If you participate and really get involved with your education you will feel empowered and be satisfied with the education you receive in the end.
Once you pass your NCLEX and hold the RN license, employers do not care one bit where you went to school. They don't research nursing schools' reputations. They only care that you hold your license.
