What is the best way to increase the signal strength of wireless router?
I have a linksys router WRT54GL with a link DWL - g510 d adapter. The router is in the room for me (although I want it 2 floors above me) and I get low signal. After some investigating, I found the ceiling is the kind that have many metal lines which plaster is applied. I wonder if there is a kind of signal booster or antenna that could blast even though this metal shield on top of me. Are there any recommendations on something are proven to work? Can someone show a specific product as well? Thanks, Mike
