Pie in the face joke. Should I use french silk or banana cream?
A friend of mine wants to get a pie in the face. I wanted to know, which sticks to the face better, and would be messier; french silk or banana cream. I want to do one where the pie and crust sticks to the face after impact. I won't have time to make a pie and would have to get one from the grocery store near my house. Those are her favorite type of pies and my friends and I want to pie her really good. Which of the two would you recommend?
Both will stick just fine, just make sure that if you get a frozen pie you thaw it first (about ninety minutes to two hours left sitting out will do). The less thawed it is, the less it'll stick. French Silk pies tend to have large chocolate bits on top, which you may want to pick off before the hit. You can also ensure that the crust will come out of the pan and stick to the face by lightly shaking the pie up and down a bit, just enough to loosen it. As for a brand, if you can get Sara Lee pies in your area, those are great for face-splatting. Have fun!
