If you take glutamine and arginine to stimulate production of GH; Will the production of GH become reliant ?

My mum told me that if I take arginine and glutamine to aid me in my work outs, it will stimulate the production and release of growth hormone and human growth hormone, but it will mean my pituarity gland and other glands will become reliant on it and evolve to use it as an indicator telling them when to produce and release the various forms of growth hormone.

This would mean I would eventually become reliant on the pills. Is this true or is it a load of rubbish, evidence would be helpful rather than opinions thanks . .
and im only 17 - is it true it stunts your growth?
