Why cant you take st, Johns wort and hay fever/allergy tablets?
I took them once and it didn't hurt but i read you cant...do you know why? thankss
Allergy drugs (antihistamines) -- St. John's wort can reduce levels of these drugs in the body, making them less effective:
Loratadine (Claritin)
Cetirizine (Zyrtec)
Fexofenadine (Allegra)
Some antihistamines can cause dizziness and a dry mouth, so can St John.s wort.
It can increase or decrease the effect of other drugs.
Trial and error with the antihistamines, talk to your doctor or a pharmacist.
